Hey Useful Idiots,

Last Wednesday kicked off the official start of election season (although this cycle seemed to have started in early 2022) with the stupidly irritating RNC debate between a panel of focus-grouped AI-generated stuffed-suit neocons pretentious enough to believe they deserve to be the most powerful person in the world.

Luckily, Useful Idiots streamed a debate drinking game with enough rules that, if followed correctly, you should have forgotten about the whole thing completely.

They try to tell us that “staying informed” by watching debates is the job of a responsible citizen, and people seem to agree that if you are well-informed about such topics, you are very smart and well-read and good. Of course that’s all nonsense. Following debate punditry is no different than keeping up with the Kardashians, and at worst, it gives unearned credence to the power of those telling us they’re in charge.

But sometimes it’s a guilty pleasure to get into the gossip.

So let’s hear predictions, takes, intelligent analysis, all that BS about the RNC debate, Trump, the lack of DNC democracy, and who can win the popularity contest next year.
