Aaron Maté vs British Diplomat at UN

Useful Idiots’ own Aaron Maté headed to the United Nations Security Council to call out the OPCW's ongoing cover-up of its investigation into the alleged April 2018 chemical attack in Douma, Syria. Watch as he lays out evidence to debunk the approved narrative in the West.

And then watch as a certain UK diplomat calls Aaron a liar and then runs out of the room before Aaron has a chance to respond. The diplomat, Thomas Phipps, implored the UN not to listen to Aaron, claiming his evidence is misinformation and that all his work has been disproven.

After Phipps fled the scene, Aaron got a chance to respond, and he does here again on Useful Idiots too. So Mr. Phipps, if you’re a fan of Thursday Throwdowns, this one’s for you.

But that’s not all that’s happening at the UN. This week, UN spokesman Faran Haq gets caught in a lie by a journalist who poses a simple question: “Do you think the US military presence in Syria is illegal or not?” Plus, every country except for Brazil, Russia, and China vote against a resolution for a commission to investigate the sabotage of Nord Stream. Wonder if they have anything to hide…

Aaron’s back from the UN, which means he and Katie are ready to throw down. It’s our Thursday bonus episode. Let us know in the comments what corporate media monologues, interviews, or anything else you want to see on the next Thursday Throwdown.
