Bernie v. Hillary Round 2: Turner v. Brown
Tomorrow's election will either give us a new Squad member or prove the Democratic Establishment's power remains strong. Plus, our miserable 2024 predictions and more Jimmy vs Cenk
“I think for black men and for a lot of people in the district, they have not felt seen and they have not felt heard. And she's working very hard to change that. And it's working.”
Jennifer R. Farmer, campaign surrogate for Nina Turner’s Ohio-11 congress race, joins the Useful Idiots for an extended interview to talk tomorrow’s race. That’s right. Tomorrow.
It’s a rehashing of Bernie vs. Hillary: progressive Nina Turner, who has AOC out stumping for her, taking on Shontel Brown, funded by corporate dems. And Jennifer takes this final chance to hammer home why Nina entered the race:
“What is surprising to me is that we teach our kids that they have an opinion and that their opinion matters. But for black women and black women who seek elected office, voicing your opinion can be dangerous.”
And Nina Turner is setting out to change that.
Plus, we begin the first media discussion of the 2024 presidential race. And boy does it suck. Almost as much our bonus Dems suck and our left-on-left feud update.
It’s all this, and more, on this week’s subscriber-only episode of Useful Idiots. Watch here.
I never thought I could dislike HRC anymore yet here I am HATING her.
So Ms. Farmer is a rather uninspiring surrogate... Lots of CNN-type platitudes. Did she know who she was talking to? Guess everyone can't be Nina Turner in the flesh.
