Adam Schiff, Keith Olbermann, and more members of the Russiagate cult known as BlueAnon became fantastically enraged this week when fellow conspiracy theorist Jake Tapper admitted on CNN that the Durham Report, which showed there was no collusion between Trump and Russia, is “devastating to the FBI.”

Olbermann, the only man capable of a spittle-spewing rant through a tweet, called for Tapper’s resignation, denouncing him and CNN as propagandists.

Schiff, in contrast keeping his eel-like calmness, only doubled down on his claims, trashing the report, slithering to the safety of MSNBC where Trump is still a Russian asset doing Putin’s bidding.

But even with the report breaking up a six-year story that, as Aaron argues, potentially scourged up enough Russophobia to lead to the Ukraine proxy war, there’s still no one covering it. And so, the tireless job of the Useful Idiots continues, covering stories no one else will, shouting breathlessly into an empty void.

Plus, Anderson Cooper asks to be kicked to repent for CNN hosting the Trump town hall, and CNN is teaming up with the CIA to recruit Russian spies on the dark web.

It’s a weird week.
