Tonight is election night. We made it this far. We just need to get through one. more. night. And then the polling, the punditry, the chaos ends. And the world once again will smile.

Unless you look at this week’s headlines: “Officials warn some election results may not be known right away.” or “Be patient: This election is probably going to go on a while.” and the very clever “Election night could become election week.”

So, it seems, tonight merely kicks off Part II of the months-long election season, where the poll-pontificating ends and thus begins the vote tallying, the expert predictions, the breaking alerts, the fraud accusations, the election denials, the screaming, the flailing, the jumping, and the kicking.

So tonight Useful Idiots is hosting a discussion board all night long. Katie and Aaron will be responding to your comments, answering your questions, joining in on the absurdity.
