If you're voting for Joe Biden, you ain't 18-29
Young voters are dropping a candidate who has done everything in his power to break his promises to them
Even corporate media, a steady employee of President Biden, is beginning to crack under the increasingly immense weight of his tanking poll numbers.
This week an ABC poll showed that 36% of all Democrats don’t want Joe Biden to run again, and the number only gets worse among young progressives. CNN begrudgingly hosted a panel which noted that “young activists…aren’t being listened to.” They cited Biden’s decision to drill in Alaska as well as his record on public safety and immigration as top issues driving young voters to stay home. “There’s this skepticism about the effectiveness of the electoral process. ‘I voted and I’m seeing the erosion of reproductive rights.’”
These opinions being shared on corporate media, a rare sight these days, proves the failure of the Biden campaign. “They are telling us it is not enough for Democrats to keep telling these young people to consider the alternative. They have to come up with a compelling, inspiring message.”
The fact that this aired on CNN, however, only makes it more hypocritical for Dems to continue to ignore Biden-challengers RFK Jr. and Marianne Williamson and cancel democratic debates. It only adds to our theory that Democrats would rather lose to the other faction of the ruling class than win together with the working class.
Plus, our knight in shining armor Brian Stelter worries how we’ll be able to censor Tucker Carlson when he’s independent, and breaking news: Dianne Feinstein is back (you just can’t see her yet).
It’s our Thursday bonus episode. Let us know in the comments what corporate media monologues, interviews, or anything else you want to see on the next Thursday Throwdown.
