Aaron I have the feeling you’re losing any sort of hope. I understand, but we need people like you and Katie. Keep up the good work and truth

Interesting about the organization of the protest movement. Was it centralized or spontaneous? Is there really a movement? Is this the beginning of something ? Hard to tell. By the way impressed with you both.

"We don't settle our differences with violence or at gunpoint," says Tim Waltz. Is he out of his mind? That's exactly how the United States solves its differences, with violence. I maintain that the ubiquitous street level violence we see is the grassroots following the example of their leaders, solving problems with violence. George Bush fils and his regime, for example. Why aren't they in prison? I'm not sure who the "we" is Waltz refers to. Can he be so benighted as to not know about Vietnam, 800+foreign military bases, Salvador Allende, Iran's Mossadegh, a brutal six decade blockade of Cuba, perennial support for the apartheid Israeli state, and on and on. It is precisely with violence and at gunpoint the United States settles its difference. As Andrew Bacevich teaches us, power has very serious shortcomings. Don't tell that to Trump. He doesn't read books.
