You two are obscenely antisemitic. None of this would have happened if Hamas with protection from the Palestinians had released the hostages of which eight are Americans. Some of the hostages were held prisoner by a member of the Palestinian press. The Palestinian government still pays families of “martyrs” that kill Israeli Jews. The Palestinians and Hamas want nothing to do with Peace or a two state solution. They want Israel and the Jews eliminated. All of them. Islamism. And you support them 100% all the time. If the hostages were all American we would go in scorched earth to retrieve them. But because it is the Jews for some reason they are not allowed to defend and rescue their own citizens and ours who have been taken. What gives?

October 7 wouldn't have happened without the preceding three-quarters of a century of illegal occupation and apartheid by Israel. Are we to believe that on October 6 everything was peaceful and in order in the apartheid state? An occupying power doesn't have the "right of self-defense." Even if they are Jewish.

Is it fair for 2.2 million Palestinians, the indigenous population of the land, to be put under siege in a 5 mile by 25 mile strip of land, in which nothing - people, building supplies, food, and any other necessary - gets into or out of Gaza except at the whim of the apartheid state? You're claiming Israel is not an apartheid state, when the Israeli government has signed into law spelled out specifically, that only Jews are genuine citizens of Israel, with rights human and otherwise, but not Palestinians? Katie Halper has pointed out that as a Jew, she could go to Israel and claim homestead rights at the expense of the Israeli government. But the indigenous of Palestine do not have anything resembling those rights or any others. You must be an Israeli supremacist, yeah? Or do you just consider yourself a Jewish supremacist, since Jews are largely white, whereas Palestinians are dusky hued. As everyone knows the dusky hued are incapable of self-government. The Palestinians are sequestered under a vicious siege, in which even chocolate and chlorine are prohibited, except at the caprice of Israeli authorities. I rarely cite Ayn Rand anymore because of her disgusting capitalism. But she had this much right: physical force is only justified in retaliation for the initiation of the use of physical force. So you tell me. Did Israel have it coming? October 7 was essentially a prison break. Set all that aside, was the Israeli a proportionate response to October 7? Not October 6, you understand; or the three-quarters of a century before that?

I like Ayn Rand. I am a Capitalist. That said war is what the Palestinians have brought onto themselves by supporting and electing Hamas as their leaders. They have been offering their own state and passed multiple times. They chose war.

Israel has a right to self defense. The hostages have not been released by choice. That is a minimum.

Looking back in history what would Mohammed do? Think Banu Qurayza. He would be scorched earth. Sad. True.

The "Pier"???? Today, it was discussed that that pier harbored US military that aided the IDF, dressed in Gazan clothes, to move into area as "supply" vehicles, coupled with small moving vans. Of course, they opened up on the crowds, completing the circle of fire (aerial, also). The lies fly like flies in Israel.

It seems like if Hamas would give up and return all hostages, there would be no more killings?

Unless of course, you believe if Hamas did give up…and all hostages were returned this situation would only ramp up.

The IDF would then go and commit complete genocide by boxing in and indiscriminately annihilating the remaining 1 million+ people remaining in Gaza?

Hamas shouldn't release the hostages except upon major concessions by apartheid Israel. The hostages are the one source of leverage possessed by Hamas.

It seems quite likely that a lot of political pressure was brought after the ICC arrest warrant applications to arrange for the U.S. military to participate in at least one Israeli military operation in which a large number of unnecessary civilian deaths was possible in order to remove any possible argument that American people were not complicit in mass murder.

Palestinians are the original Semites; Jews are a later tribe of people.
