John Kirby feels “perfectly comfortable” with Israel bombing Rafah
A real quote from the Biden administration
“Is there a feeling here at the White House,” asks a reporter to White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby, just two days after Israel launched its brutal attack on civilian tents in Rafah, “that Prime Minister Netanyahu’s policies put President Biden in a more and more difficult position? And you also?”
“Me?” asks Kirby with his famous tight-lipped smirk. “I’m perfectly comfortable, I’m fine, thank you.”
He then goes on to claim that it isn’t Israel but Hamas who is committing a genocide. “Read the Hamas manifesto,” he says. So an out-dated piece of paper is genocide, but what is happening before our eyes, with tens of thousands of people being slaughtered with US weapons, is not.
And John Kirby is perfectly comfortable with that.
Also in this week’s Thursday Throwdown: Morning Joe wants you to know that even though Biden claimed that an invasion of Rafah would cross a Red Line, this invasion of Rafah does NOT, in fact, cross a Red Line. Jill Biden went on the view to run cover for her genocidal husband to smear the campus protesters, pretending to support them while admonishing them for fighting violence with violence. She did not, however, list any example of violence committed by the student protesters.
Antony Blinken claims that the US has no information of who bombed the displaced-persons tents in Rafah until an investigation takes place. His speech comes after CNN reported that shells made by Boeing (sent by the US) were found to be the weapon used to massacre the refugees.
And Israel posted a totally legit video in which two Gazans casually claim that everything Israel has said is totally true and that the Israeli missile was actually very tiny and harmless. We’re honestly surprised that the clearly-faked Gazans spoke in Arabic and not in English with Middle Eastern accents. It’s more effort than Israel usually puts into their propaganda schemes.
It’s lie after lie after lie after lie after lie. But don’t cry – laugh at it all with Katie and Aaron. It’s Thursday Throwdown.
