Hey Useful Idiots,
We’re officially in Year 3 of Useful Idiots on Substack and we’re planning out new guests for the upcoming season. And we want your help.
Over the past two years, we’ve had so many incredible interviews, both with people Katie, Matt, and Aaron have connections to, but also with what we call Longshots. A Longshot guest is when you slide into David Cross’s DMs and say “u up?” It doesn’t always get a response, but when you have the journalistic and Twitteristic clout of the Useful Idiots, you get responses you didn’t think were possible.
So we’re asking our listeners who you want to hear from this year on the pod. Journalists who cover mainstream-ignored topics that we haven’t covered yet; politicians who might give a worthwhile interview; Longshot celebrities who actually have something good to say about politics; or past UI guests who you’re itching to hear again.
We’ll use your suggestions and reach out with interview requests. You never know what Longshots may already be listening to Useful Idiots.
Join Katie and Wilson at 12pm to share your ideas and discuss your favorite Useful Idiots guests that you want back on the podcast.
Congratulations on 3rd year plus:
An astonishing interview of smart and noble Elon Musk - Part One

Alex and Alexander from The Duran channel, and also Brian Berletic of the New Atlas YouTube channel. Fabio Vighi, Italian philosopher out of Cardiff University in Wales. Matt Ehret and Cynthia Chung from The Canadian Patriot website, who just published my piece "A Tale of Two Tipping Points: Huntington's Clash of Civilizations Revisited," or fun with geopolitical eggheads. Oh, and CJ Hopkins. I think Katie and Aaron would have some illuminating fun with any of these potential guests.
