Senator Chris Murphy (D–CT) believes anything Israel says

Plus, Anderson Cooper accidentally calls Palestinians "civilians" and a human rights lawyer goes full-out Nazi

“What is Israel supposed to do?” asks a seemingly-endless revolving door of guests on corporate media this week, “Not bomb hospitals? Not starve children? It’s a war!”

And though no conclusive evidence has been reported to identify who bombed the Gaza hospital which killed hundreds of Palestinians, including countless children and babies, state-media CNN broadcasted voices who already seem sure of their answer.

“Listen,” Senator Chris Murphy tells Wolf Blitzer, “I don’t tend to require Israel to provide proof of the claims they make. They are our ally. My default position is to believe Israel.” So even after Israel admitted its claims of beheaded babies in the street were made up, Chris Murphy still believes his friends.

And from there, prepare yourself for a whiplashing back-and-forth, where Pentagon spokespeople, US politicians, and corporate media thugs can't get their ping-ponging story straight: at first, Israel blew up the hospital, but it was Hamas’ fault. Then, they backtrack, it wasn’t Israel. They claim there is no humanitarian crisis, but also Hamas caused the humanitarian crisis, but also it doesn’t exist.

In an extra dazzling moment, Anderson Cooper does it all in one sentence, correcting his own statement on live TV when he remembers he can’t refer to murdered Palestinian children as “civilians.”

Oh, and there’s some clips of Biden, but it’s honestly just difficult at this point to understand what he’s saying. If you could let us know, that’d be great.
