Trump is stocking the swamp full of Washington neocons

In 2015, Donald Trump mocked Marco Rubio in a tweet:

Sheldon and Miriam Adelson, the wealthiest Israelis in the world, are heavy Israel lobbyists who have spent millions of dollars to influence US elections. Trump, the self-proclaimed anti-war anti-foreign-influence candidate, correctly blasted Rubio for selling out and handing his agency to a foreign actor.

Until…

The 2024 election when Miriam Adelson spent $100 million on the Trump campaign. So now, the Adelsons’ new perfect little puppet is choosing his cabinet, precisely as instructed by his masters. And in a full-circle moment, he chose Marco Rubio to be his secretary of state.

And Rubio comes as one in a long list of Israel sycophants tapped to serve in the new administration. Elon Musk, Tulsi Gabbard, Mike Waltz, Matt Gaetz, Elise Stefanik, Mike Huckabee and more, all given big payouts from Israel lobbies, will now be in charge of defense, national security, and intelligence. And if anyone is still unsure if the swamp is drained or not, the neocon-est of them all, John Bolton, announced that he’s thrilled with Trump’s picks.

So, as Joe Biden notoriously announced in 2019: Nothing will fundamentally change. It’s going to be another long four years – Useful Idiots will be here to help you laugh instead of cry through all of it.
