Great perspective and honestly who knows what's real or bs or propaganda. I recall the last few decades hearing heartfelt testimony about Weapons of Mass destruction in Iraq etc all for more wars. I do wonder since the Smith Mundt act was repealed in 2013 by the Obama Administration concerning propaganda focused internally at the citizenry is now legal if we are being fed anything from the federal government?

In 2012, the United States spent over three-quarters of a billion dollars funding government agencies that produce and broadcast programming1 around the globe.2 Yet, for over sixty years, all international broadcasts produced by the federal government could not be disseminated within the United States. A longstanding provision contained within the Information and Educational Exchange Act of 1948 (commonly known as the Smith– Mundt Act) prohibited the federal government from domestically disseminating any government-produced programming intended for a foreign audience, such as Voice of America and Radio Free Europe broadcasts.3 That all changed when the ban was lifted on July 2, 2013

Katie and Aaron, I think you have both reached such stature that you can dispense with the "four food groups" and such. You are both becoming essential to how we get news along with interviews like this. You can get straight to the point and people will still listen/watch/read.

On February 27, MacGregor told FoxNews that Ukraine forces were "surrounded and cutoff" and that Russian forces would annihilate them if they did not surrender in 24 hours. He said that Putin should be able to take any part of Ukraine that he wants and the West should stay out of it. After Ukraine forces repelled the initial Russian invasion (largely due to Russia's inept logistics and poorly trained forces), MacGregor then said that he thought Russia had been to "gentle". Later in March, MacGregor told Tucker Carlson that Ukraine's forces had been "grounded to bits" and the war "was really over" for Ukraine's armed forces. Late in August, MacGregor claimed that an influx of weapons would not make any difference because Ukraine forces did not have the training and tactical leadership to conduct a complex offensive against Russian occupiers. In the second week of September, MacGregor goes back on Tucker Carlson and says that things are going "very badly" for Ukraine and that the war may be over soon. And now Mate has MacGregor on (without regard for the vitriol he has spewed against immigrants and Muslims) and he is again claiming that Russia is winning, even though it has helped Ukraine double the number of tanks it has by leaving behind over 400 tanks during its "tactical retreats".
