Question for international law nerds: we often hear it stated that Israel’s occupation of Gaza and the West Bank is illegal, because a state can’t acquire territory taken by force (in 1967).
Yet Mearsheimer and others presume that Russia will acquire new territory in Ukraine by force. What am I missing?
I have not and will not read this interview. Until you folks who sarcastically shoot down and politically decimate every word out of Biden's mouth WITHOUT HAVING A NONPARTISAN PLAN to advocate the end of these two wars, I will do my best to find folks/groups willing to lay out a plan that, without this political malice, gets the warring parties AROUND A NEGOTIATING TABLE, That is what you should spend every moment of air time doing. Think how you would members of all political parties around this idea! It is shameful that you instead waste your platform on shooting down the current president (w/o considering the alternative.
